Weight Watchers Wednesday – Week 13

Spring started last week, I felt WARMTH for the first time in AGES! This week was good. At least, it felt good. I buckled down after a 2 week hiatus, and got back into my groove. Just a couple of things……

So, I went to Subway after work one day to get my “usual”. The sandwich artist looks at me and says, “Veggie Delite on wheat bread, with the tomatoes and cheese toasted first?” Damn. She knew my face, and had my order DOWN, ya heard? I officially go to Subway too much (well, that Subway anyway).

And keeping with the spirit of staying out of Subway, I went grocery shopping to replenish the goods. I spent $88.58. Is that a lot? I think I got a good amount of food for my dough. But its just me. Is that a lot to spend on just one person? I can’t imagine shopping for some hungry ass kids in addition to myself.

Lastly, a few of us went to downtown Brooklyn to eat some TGI Fridays. I had the Tuscan Portobello Melt with a Fire Red Pepper Soup (its the meal that “Betty” from Top Chef created, it won the challenge, so now its on the menu). I could go on and on about the horrendous service we received (my water glass was DRY because the waitress never came around to our table), and how we had to wait an hour for food while people who came AFTER us sat down, ate happily, and finished before we even got silverware……(did I mention we were HOONGRAY??). Yeah, so we expressed our “concerns” to the manager, and he kindly took off half of our check (it was a $50 check yall!). But what I was REALLY mad about, was when I FINALLY got my sandwich, and I was ready to GR-UB……it looked like a damn hot pocket. :? WHERE’S THE REST OF MY DAMN SANDWICH??? Hell they NEEDED to take off half of our bill for giving me HALF of a meal. That was some bullshit! Never going back to that Fridays. I’ll be at Applebees instead. At least they have a certified Weight Watchers menu created especially for hungry dieters like me!

Moral of the story is……Caramel Appletini’s from Applebees are the BOMB!

But getting on to what you all came here for (not like yall don’t skip down to the bottom first anyway)……

Today’s date is March 28, 2007. I lost thre–no fou–no thre–what the??? THIS MUTHASUCKA!!! *breathe B, breathe*

See, I found out AFTER I bought my scale that the digital ones are NO GOOD, VERY UNRELIABLE, AND FULL OF CRAP! I should’ve went ahead and bought an analog one, but I had JUST purchased this scale, and was not about to go out and buy a new one. Well folks, the time has come. This scale gave me, like, 4 different readings. I gather that I lost somewhere between 1.5 and 4.5 pounds. I’m gonna be “conservative”, and roll with 3 pounds. :grin: But I’ll have to verify that tomorrow after I get my *new* analog scale tonight. Son of a……

 

Running Total: *roughly* 27.5 lbs Lost

 

Almost at the big 3-0! Woohoo! I think I’m gonna start incorporating some arm exercises to tone these bad boys up. So, I guess push-ups are in order, along with some tricep dips (ok, I’ve been watching WAY to much “Work Out” on Bravo!).
