I cringe when I hear words like, “She thinks too much of herself “. Too often we don’t get the SHINE I think we deserve. The world is SO critical of women, especially women like us.

Too young to be havin’ kids; too old to start having kids.

Why aren’t you married yet?

Must be somethin’ wrong with YOU if you’re still single; must HAVE somethin’ wrong with you in order to NOT be single.

Inferior, can’t do what a man can do; YET, we won’t let a man be a man.

Golddiggers who want to be taken care of; OR too able to take care of ourselves, new-age, modern wo-men who don’t need a man for anything.

 
We can’t win for losing. And women, we can be quite hard on ourselves. *guilty as charged*   I guess its because I have high expectations of US and for US.
 
Well……I wanna use this place to create a dialogue for, about, and amongst my sistren. Its time to tell it like it T-I-is.

Damn, this is taking longer than I thought. Busy busy busy last couple of weeks. I’ll just be visiting blogs for awhile until I can SAT-DOWN and get somethin’ done.

I have new pair of glasses to be used only when I’m working on the computer (which is all day, everyday). I look like Nana in these things. I’m feelin like somebody’s Librarian right about now.

So, I’m doing a blog rehaul. I got kinda bored with my old format, and I’ve decided to do something different. Something new.
