We’re not dumbing it down, quieting it down, or laying it down for NO ONE.

I encounter SO many ladies like myself.

SO independent
SO capable
SO smart
SO witty
SO beautiful
SO sexy
SO friendly
SO single
SO feared
SO fearless
SO loved
SO humble
SO giving
SO thankful

and

SO damn opinionated

 
I cringe when I hear words like, “She thinks too much of herself “. Too often we don’t get the SHINE I think we deserve. The world is SO critical of women, especially women like us.

    Too young to be havin’ kids; too old to start having kids.

    Why aren’t you married yet?

    Must be somethin’ wrong with YOU if you’re still single; must HAVE somethin’ wrong with you in order to NOT be single.

    Inferior, can’t do what a man can do; YET, we won’t let a man be a man.

    Golddiggers who want to be taken care of; OR too able to take care of ourselves, new-age, modern wo-men who don’t need a man for anything.

 
We can’t win for losing. And women, we can be quite hard on ourselves. *guilty as charged*   I guess its because I have high expectations of US and for US.
 
Well……I wanna use this place to create a dialogue for, about, and amongst my sistren. Its time to tell it like it T-I-is.

To my (potentially former) male readers, sorry, this might not interest you much. But stick around, you might learn something.
