Time For One of Those Weekends

This is one of those “I wanna do nothing with someone all weekend” weekends. I wanna be locked up in the house…occasionally in the room…with someone the whole weekend, and never leave……their side, anyway. I wanna order in, drink shot for shot, watch movies, smoke a blunt, take a nap together, wake up and chase each other around the house, until one catches the other and gives them something they can feel. Maybe we’ll take a walk to get some fresh air…maybe go see an outdoor concert…maybe crash a barbecue…but whatever we do, we do it together. All weekend.

    I totally feel you; and I feel like that EVERY WEEKEND…this is the first in a, well, ever that I’m actually going to have it…I’m sure you will too, just not when you want it to be…it never works that way.

    July 4th has been bittersweet for me for the past few years, but no longer. It is what it is…INDEPENDENCE DAY. I feel your sentiment though; holiday wknds give you that EXTRA time with someone special. I plan to hang out with friends and family and then make sure I take an ENTIRE day, just for me.

    Yeah. I haven’t had a weekend like that in a while. That post is motivation to go back to working M-F only. My bank account, however, tells a different tale.
