I love this album! And I loved his last album (Street Love). Didn’t really catch onto the first one, but I might go back and revisit it.

 
I didn’t want to admit it, but I’m becoming a fan of Lloyd’s music. I don’t know what it is, but its catchy and cool. And remarkably, he doesn’t sound like anyone else out there.

 
I do have one question, however, regarding this new album……

……WHY (oh why) is Lloyd begging some girl to “please have his baby”?

 
Talkin bout how much he loves her, she’s the only one for him, don’t think he’s crazy but……please have his baby. UMMM!

 
And then on another song he’s talking about “this is the year of the lover, lets make a baby, lets do somethin crazy, lets reach out and love one another”……

Lloyd, what’s goin’ on?
Somethin’ you tryna tell us?
Somethin’ you wanna share?

Is having someone’s baby the ultimate symbol of love?

Ok ok, I know it is (supposed to be). But that’s almost a laughable statement considering the state of the parental society.

 
While the melodies and thoughts behind the songs are “nice” in a general sense (as a competent adult, I can appreciate the music and the loving sentiment behind having a child with the person you love)……I just hope these “kids” don’t go out there listening to these songs and get inspired to start continue procreating all willy-nilly.
