WW Wednesday……on Friday
Oops, looks like I missed Wednesday this week.
Well, I have a good reason. I went to D.C. to witness the inauguration of President Barack Obama. I’m glad I didn’t sleep on the opportunity to attend such an amazing event.
Plus, I WAS ON TV! 
I’ve had a great start to the new year. Both of my best friends came to NY to visit, within a week of each other, and I was able to enjoy their company and light up the town with our smiles and laughter. And they both saw fresh snow falling from the sky for the first time! So cool.
I’ll be glad when they finally decide to relocate to the East Coast. *wink, wink*
Speaking of East Coast……last week was the week of “Notorious”, and all things Biggie. I watched a great documentary on BET about the life of Christopher Wallace, the story told by his local/childhood friends, his fellow rappers/colleagues from back in the day, producers from the Ready to Die album, Source magazine writers, etc. It was the “hood” version, if you will……which then made me want to go see the movie to see if it was comparable.
It was……and I’ve been on a Biggie/Bad Boy/early 90’s/debut/rap album kick since then. I downloaded Ready To Die, Hard Core, The Chronic, and Reasonable Doubt……and I’m not done yet, lol. MAN! Good times.
But I really enjoyed the movie, and recommend it to everyone. Ummm, leave the kids at home tho. My eyes are still scarred from some of the scenes I didn’t expect to see, lol.

I lost 1 lb. I’ll take it!

I was at the Barackathon too…but I didn’t see jack!
…as for Notorious…it was ok. It could’ve been better, but it could’ve been far worse. I’m glad it didn’t suck though.

I went to see Notorious. My eyes could have done without the sex scenes with “Lil Kim”. lol But my crazy self started to do a psycho analysis on that chick throughout the movie. lol

i LOVED the movie. i think it definitely makes you look at biggie in a new and more human light. congrats on the weight loss.

I wish I loved the movie as much as everyone else, it was cool tho
I def. feel u on those eye scarring scenes! too bad I was sitting next to an 8yr old that I did’nt know….poor little boy.
