Speaking of Friends…
…hmmm, I guess this topic has been heavy on my mind lately.
Rightfully so, because I cannot WAIT for LGB’s visit this week. OH how I need to see a familiar, loving, and caring face.
Every so often, I feel like I lose myself out here…being away from my core. I get all caught up in other people, other things, and other ways of life that I don’t and wouldn’t necessarily subscribe to…yet somehow I find myself being consumed by them.
Eck, I need to shake it off and shake it out, and she’s just the inspiration and motivation I need.
While I’m sure I can (and will) provide some needed relief on her end too, I’m feeling quite selfish about her visit, lol.

Awwww, girl, you know I’m past excited to see you and spend time with you. It’s always so much fun…no matter what we decide to do…no matter how big or how small.
This has been one of the greatest testaments to friendship that I’ve ever known. And I thank God for you and the ability to trust and lean on you and have you do the same.
Shoot…and it’s the least I can do to give you a little jump start since I’m just crash landing on you and your spot…again. LOL. But for real, with you, NYC doesn’t seem so far away.

Wow, it’s been awhile since I commented here. I’m ashamed!
While I’m late, I hope you guys had a good time in each others company. It’s always a good stress reliever to see familiar faces and talk to people who you can relate and have complete trust with.
