Don’t Put A Ring On It

*sigh*

Where to begin?

*sigh*

I’m just…baffled.

It still surprises me. How shameless some men can be.

Eck!

This old man went on and on about how “beautiful” I am, and how I seemed like “such a great person”, and then proceeded to ask me out to breakfast/lunch/dinner just AFTER he told me he was married.

Yeah.

I’m not even gonna go all the way in on how WRONG this is. I mean, it SHOULD be apparent but you know what…I guess its not, because THIS man seemed to think nothing of it.

I guess I should be thankful that he did at least tell me he was married (not that it would’ve mattered either way…I wasn’t about to entertain that old man in any fashion).

But what I am gonna go in on, is how this man figured I would be down with that. Why would a beautiful, great person (like myself) take him up on such an ugly, ignoble offer?

Not that anyone should be down with adultery, but if you want to up your chances of getting someone to say “ok”, ya might wanna aim lower. That is, unless he already thought he was aiming lower, which then brings me back to my original point…you think that low of me? AND now you wanna ask me to dinner?

I’m just sick at the thought!

I’m pissed that as women, we have to constantly deal with invasive, insulting bullshit like this.

The worst part…was that this was an OLD man. Fiddyleven years, and you’re STILL trifling?

Have Mercy.

Umm, ladies…if your man is wack, don’t bank that he’ll ever grow out of it.

Ugh, I’m just so disgusted.

I had car issues, and this man was referred to me by a co-worker who was trying to look out for me and get me a good mechanic. So I went in there feeling safe and comfortable, thinking that this man was going to take good care of me and not rip me off. [Ha!]

This man couldn’t just fix my car, and go on about his business? If not out of respect for me (or himself), but at least for his friend? He mighta had a steady customer in me. Now I’ll NEVER go back to his shop, and I’ll never refer him to anybody else. AND, I’ll never take another referral from my co-worker.

And do you know that this man, called up his friend (my co-worker) to ask him if EYE was married?

.
.
.

I…don’t…even…have…the…words.

So you give less than a damn about your marriage, but now you’re worrying about mine?

I can’t. Lord, I can’t.
