Nerdy is Sexy
I think I’ve officially changed my guy “type”.
I was in a meeting today (at work) with a guy…black guy…and he was the “nerdy” type. The smart-looking guy who wears glasses. I’ve seen him around the office, but never really paid him any attention.
Suddenly in this meeting, which was actually a training session, I found myself being REALLY interested in what he had to say. I was somewhat mesmerized by his words and the way he spoke. He was so smart! And knowledgeable. And educated. And he was able to dictate and demonstrate each topic with sophistication and ease.
It was sssssSSSOOOOoooo attractive.
And then I saw the ring on his left finger.
Doh! But you know what……good for him (and good for her).
Is it wrong that I hope she’s black?
Is it wrong that I hope she’s a she?
*shrugs*
Anyway, I think I’ve been converted.
My former type was something along the lines of this mixed wit a lil of this.
(whew, that man don’t ever have to wear any clothes around me!)
But how many of ^those^ are out there walking around all willy nilly?
Not many, trust me!
So now I’m leaning more towards……this.
Hopefully there’s a few more of ^these^ still walking around out there?

I have a friend who swears by nerds. She says that they are the best to be involved with.

Haha, I totally go for them. While most females are on the look out for “hot” men who know they are “hot” (and don’t have much brain), the nerdy guys are everywhere just being themselves and doing their thing, not worrying about looks or if what they say is “cool”. But, if you take away their nerdy looks and cover up garments (and intellectual talk about gagdets or what not), you got a sexy man right in front of you.
Win/Win I say.
