Today’s Word: “Celebrate”
(which was actually yesterday’s word…I’m late, my bad)
Today’s word is about celebrating the blessings God has given you. Seems like a simple concept, but we (Christians) often forget to perform this important duty as God’s soldiers.
We tend to vent and speak about our frustrations and what blessings we pray God will send us tomorrow. But we forget to praise and celebrate what He has already done for us today…and yesterday…and the day before that…and the day before that.
Go back to the beginning…when you first got saved…when you first (consciously) welcomed the Lord into your life. Do you remember your life as it was then? Yeah, me too. The fact that you are not <--there anymore is a miracle that God has worked in your life, and regardless of where you are now, and what you hope to become tomorrow, you can rejoice, be glad, and CELEBRATE today, right now, that you are not where you were, yesterday.
In your celebration, you are testifying about a miraculous God, a God who still works miracles everyday, and your testimony shall fill another soul (an "empty vessel") with His joy and belief in His love and His power. It is our responsibility (not only as believers but as witnesses!) to repeat our story over and over and over and over and over and over again, until every vessel is filled with the spirit of the Lord. But until then (somebody say “until then!”), until there are no miracles left to be made, no empty vessels left to fill, we must keep shouting, keep praising, keep celebrating.
I don’t know about you, but I can still use a(nother) miracle in my life, so I’m still praising His name, even if the only person who hears it is me.
But I know that God’s works are limitless and undeniable. You can’t tell me its a coincidence that every plane I’ve ever flown on has landed safely, or its “by chance” that I received a raise and a promotion during an economic downfall, or that I just “happened” to wake up this morning a healthy and sane individual whose only “problem” in life is realizing that she has no problem, as long as she has God.
That’s my daily struggle…remembering that I am not a child of this world, but a child of His world (no matter what the murmuring of non-believers suggest). But if I keep testifying, keep reminding myself of all the miracles I’ve received, and keep believing that He has much more awaiting me, then that problem will soon dissipate along with the others.
So celebrate. Let’s celebrate!
God is good! God is awesome! He’s kept me safe, He’s kept me fed, He’s kept me warm, He’s kept me loved!
He’s worked miracles in my life, and He will work miracles in yours!
Look around, I bet He’s already starting something.

God is awesome. Being that I’m working on a training on Gratitude and Emotional Management, this was right on time. I believe in confirmation and God is faithful to confirm the Word He’s given you through others.
I love reading this from you. We have certainly been blessed and it is our duty to give thanks and pass it on. Anything less is wack.
Love you.

Love you too! Your testimony is the reason I’m able to share my own.
I should mention, as always, this is “Today’s Word” as I interpreted it from my Pastor. I’ve been moved, lately, to share the messages from God I receive through the Pastor.
I’m not nearly this insightful on my own, but I’m learning and sharing my lessons here.
