“I Have Been Thinking About You”
A friend told me that the other day (actually, it might of been the other week by now).
Caught me by surprise, since we haven’t spoken in ages and have never really kept up with each other like that. We’re more like IM buddies from time to time. Now and then if I’m logged in, and I see him logged in, I’ll say whats up. But that’s about it. I don’t even think I have his phone number, lol.
The vanity in me started wondering what he was thinking about. Was he genuinely interested in my well-being? Is he moving to NY? Is he looking for a new job? LOL. For some reason, I always come to mind when folks are out of work. I guess I have the “hook-up” when it comes to finding a job. *shrugs*
Anyways, once I realized that I was being vain, I repented, and just gave him my phone number so he could contact me and tell me what’s on his mind.
Ain’t heard from him since. Ha! Guess it wasn’t that serious.
Guess that’s the good news.
