Someone Who Lies
See, I don’t wanna be a non-believer, and total skeptic. And even though I have those tendencies, I want to think that I’m just hyper-sensitive due to the experiences I’ve had. But muhfuckas are indeed LIARS.
So what do you do when you catch someone in a lie? Meaning, you’ve “stumbled” across some information that wasn’t meant for you to see, but now you’ve seen it and now you know.
Do you bust ‘em out?? If so……how? Do you tell them about the information you’ve seen? Or do you just elude to the fact that you know what wasn’t meant for you to know, and its not important HOW you know?
Do you cut them off, with no explanation or conversation? Just, dead it.
Do you file it back, know for yourself that this person is a liar, and proceed to use the situation to your advantage while limiting your interactions with them?
I plan on responding, but I’m wondering what others think about it?

Someone To Love
He’d rather stay and deal with the BS, just to have someone to love, regardless of who that someone is, so that he isn’t alone.
She’s the total opposite. She’d rather be alone before she stayed in some mess, just to have someone to love.
Why would someone be that desirous for love?
Surely there must be a reason why a person would rather take something, anything, that resembles love and affection, than to be left with nothing.
There is.
And she learned that she is not without compassion, but she lacks the ability to appropriately display that emotion.
She believes that this is her mission, sent from above.

If I Ever……
……see THIS posted up in someone’s house……

WHY LAWD? WHHYYYYY????
……and got the nerve to try and sell this monstrosity to someone else. Your dumbass shouldn’t have bought it in the first place.
Really tho.
Who buys a red leather sofa?
Was it ever in style?
The owners said they paid $5000 for it.
WHEN??
I can’t even come up with a decade where this would’ve been acceptable.
I doubt you’d ever see this mess on Top Design.
This shit is so damn hilarious!

Year of the Fearless
I even gotta downgrade my cable and cell phone services. *sigh* I guess I didn’t really need the We channel, Animal Planet, Showtime/HBO (I interchange depending on which shows are airing), and all those Music Channels.
But I’ll still have ESPN, MTV, Bravo, Lifetime, and my HD stations, so……I guess I’ll survive. I can’t downgrade further than that tho. Basic Cable??? Eck! Standard is bad enough.
So that means I gotta watch all I can by tomorrow. And my DVR is 92% full. I have a busy night ahead of me.
I bought a treadmill. Damn thing tried to kill me when the weight loss program decided I needed to run. Bastard. But I ain’t no punk. I’m hangin’ tough. Though I just got my hair did, so I might not be runnin’ quite as hard as before (I know Dr. Ian said that I need to get over that hair excuse, but dammit, he doesn’t have to deal wit it or pay for it! - Lord knows I wish he DID tho!!!).
I went and acquired some new music today.
This orangy-ness in my background is starting to irk me. I’ll be switching it up soon.
First day back at work……I was missed. YEAH! Got ‘em right where I want ‘em. Suckers.

Which Way Did She Go?
What up folx? I’ve been on a hiatus since I left for vacation in California. I’m still in the West, but incredibly eager to get back “home” to my space in NY.
I had a great time on my vacation. Attended a monumental football game
Janet put on a helluva show…had me wishing I had paid the hundreds to be down front. But she had the place jumpin from start to finish. She gave us every hit and then some……I don’t think anyone left unsatisfied. Even when I thought I’d named all the songs she would do, she still surprised me with a few hidden gems. Janet is still the ultimate performer, with a repertoire to die for. At age 40+, she was puttin in WORK, ya heard me? I was tired just watching her, and I ain’t do nothin but sang my but off in my chair, lol. True Janet Jackson fans MUST see her on this tour. And I don’t know if LL is traveling with her, but MMM-MMM-MMM! An added bonus that I didn’t expect. His library is deep as well, cuz he too brought out songs I’d forgotten, and didn’t even tap into all that he could have.
Yeah, that was a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.
I also attended “Dinner with the Mom’s”, starring my mom (the birthday girl), my best friend (3 visits in 3 months!), her mom (who’s my second mom), and myself. It was a wonderful evening of food, drink, love, joy, and laughter. We must do it again soon!
And as enjoyable as my trip has been, its had some sour moments as well (what else is new?). Reasons why I know I’m not ready to move back to life as I knew it in California. My life is my own in NY, and I’m free to do as I please without question or interruption.
Don’t get me wrong……Cali is a great place to visit. You can’t beat the weather, the atmosphere, and the energy (and of course, my family and friends). But I am SO comfortable in my lil world in NY……I can’t wait to return!
See ya soon!
Oh, and I’m SO getting back on my diet.
